About NELA-MARIA
I am an experienced Maths teacher with 9 years in teaching Maths in Romania and one year in London plus 5 years as a private tutor in England. That is why I would like to harness my abilities of teaching and to offer a professional and consistent level of tutoring Mathematics which to improve students’ skills in Maths and to give them the confidence they need in order to succeed.
As a teacher, I have the ability to make Maths easy for my students, making them to understand basics first and then to tackle with more difficult things. ''Difficult'' will become ''easy'' with my methods. My experience in teaching enables me to recognise easily the misconceptions the students might have with specific Maths GCSE topics. I structure my lessons in order to clarify all these misconceptions and to give to the students the confidence which will bring them the success in GCSE. I am happy and proud to may say that all my students have been successful with their exams.

The first lesson is for free. An assessment is made to identify the student's level of knowledge and the compatibility between student and tutor. The lessons are online, on Zoom platform, which provides lots of useful resources. Sessions are one to one, of 60 minutes and each session is meant to give the student more and more confidence in his/ her Maths abilities.
