I have a lot of skills that would enable me to become a successful Maths tutor. Although I have a sincere aptitude for Mathematics and other technical subjects like Engineering an Computing, other people have a great fear of the subjects, that I excel at.
I know, that I only have the Mathematical knowledge by having a sincere interest in the subject and of course putting lots of hours into my learning.
I want to share my skills with other people who seem to have a fear for Mathematics, that it's not as hard as they seem to think it is. A lot of the time, it's just a simple case of that's how you do it and taking it at face value, as opposed to looking into it, in much more depth than you need to. That's where the confusion starts. I didn't know that 18 / 3 = 6 until someone told me that in infant school. However, as I've gone onto A Level Maths and Degree level Maths, I have learned that 18 / 6 = 3, means, how many times can 3 be taken away form 18 until we get to zero, and that's 6 times.
