About Almont

- What kind of experience do you have?

GCSE and As/A level: I have tutored many learners from schools,sixth form colleges ( Hills Road, long Road /Cambridge, King's Ely , The Bedford Sixth Form/Bedford ) and local engineering colleges ( CRC , Huntingdon , Peterborough, Bedford ) helping with different Maths topics and supporting their lessons as they progress through the course. I have also provided intensive tuition in the lead up to the A Level exams each year.

I have tutored many resit students through their exams, assisting them in achieving the higher grades that they are after and ultimately going to the Universities.I also been privately tutoring Maths for the past 15 years.

Often they have lost confidence in their ability to learn a particular subject or subjects. After a couple of sessions they have a whole new vision of themselves, move quickly up the academic grades and feel better about themselves in general.

The aim of private tuition is for the student to gain knowledge and confidence as well as improving concentration. Students should be aware that tuition is not like school where the teacher has to rush through topics without having the time to really stop and make sure everyone fully understands the work. I aim to provide a relaxed but friendly atmosphere where students are comfortable enough to ask for help when needed.

I am flexible with regard to teaching hours.

I don’t charge extra as other tutors do if time goes beyond 10 minutes as long as learner can complete his/her work.

I will do everything I can to ensure a good tutoring is delivered therefore your first hour will be free
