About Maitu
Hello! I am a university student studying at UCL from Singapore.
I have been tutoring maths since 2020 both in-person and online. It all started with a desire to help my peers and juniors, which is my motivation to this day.
I have worked with a diverse range of students, from ages 8-17, different nationalities, and also tutored students with special needs.
I strongly believe that as tutors we need to meet students where they are at, and understand how each student learns. This is the principle behind all my lessons, and I am committed to tailoring how I teach a concept to match each student's thought process.
I am not a maths major! (I study law). However maths has always been my favourite and best subject at school which is why I am continuing my tutoring while at uni, as I really love the subject and want to help younger students with it.
