About Shreya
A strong foundation in mathematics is built through clear explanation, consistent practice and patient guidance. I am currently in Year 11 and have consistently achieved strong results in maths, which has shaped both my understanding of the subject and my ability to explain it clearly to younger students.
As an ambitious tutor, my aim is to support Kindergarten to Grade 7 students with the key skills they need for school mathematics. I understand how easily students can fall behind when basic concepts are rushed, so I focus on explaining topics in a structured and simple way.
My approach is calm, organised and purposeful. I want students to understand the method behind each answer, improve steadily, and become more secure in their maths learning.

Each lesson is planned around the student’s current level, schoolwork and specific areas of difficulty. I offer online maths support for Kindergarten to Grade 7 students, including help with homework, revision, number skills, times tables, fractions, decimals, shapes, measurement, word problems and general topic practice.
My teaching method is step-by-step and focused. I begin by identifying what the student already understands, then work through the topic clearly before moving on to guided practice. I also correct mistakes carefully so the student understands where they went wrong and how to improve.
The pace of the lesson is adapted to the learner. I slow down when a topic needs more attention and increase the challenge when the student is ready.
