About Baptiste
Je suis un musicien professionnel ancien boursier de l'Université McGill. J'ai également étudié à New York avec des maîtres de la batterie jazz (Joe Farnsworth, Kenny Washington, Willie Jones III). J'ai une grande expérience professionnelle (je joue pour les festival de jazz, dans de nombreux clubs, restaurants et bars en ville), et j'enseigne depuis 5 ans. Je sais adapter mes cours à tous les niveaux et styles ! I am a professional musician, ex full-scholarship student graduated from McGill University. I also studied in New York City with master drummers (Joe Farnsworth, Kenny Washington, Willie Jones III). I have a lot of professional playing experience for festivals and in different clubs, bars, restaurants, and have been teaching for 3 years. I know how to adapt my lessons to all levels and styles !

Come learn how to play the drums in my studio in the Plateau in Montréal! I have two drum sets in the studio in order to play with my students. I specialize in jazz drumming but I can teach you anything from rock to funk, Latin music and jazz. My teaching method is based on fundamentals and listening to my students in order to provide them with what's best for what they want to play. I pay a lot of attention to details and want to give you the best habits as soon as possible. I also want to keep the learning process to be fun for you as it is for me. I have a lot of experience teaching and am totally bilingual (French and English). Venez apprendre la batterie dans mon studio situé dans le Plateau à Montréal ! J'ai deux batteries dans le studio pour pouvoir jouer avec mes étudiants. Je suis spécialisé en jazz mais je peux enseigner n'importe quel style, que vous aimiez le rock, la funk, le jazz, ou la musique latine. Mon enseignement est basé sur l'acquisition et le développement de fondamentaux sur l'instrument afin de devenir un musicien solide. Je porte une grande attention aux détails et veux vous donner de bonnes habitudes le plus tôt possible. J'ai beaucoup d'expérience d'enseignement et je tiens avant tout à vous écouter afin de guider les leçons dans une direction qui vous conviendra au mieux. Je suis bilingue (français et anglais).

Baptiste is a great teacher! I studied with him for a pretty long time and I can tell how much better I've got. I really liked his way of teaching. He is patient and will listen to your goals, and help you reach them!
