I tailor my lessons to students' and parents' desired outcomes and specific skill levels and interests. I believe the best learning occurs when students are engaged and actually enjoying their time absorbing new knowledge. I work with students to help them learn how they can apply their knowledge in modern-day, real life, in order to understand how history has influenced everything around us. I am willing to work with any age or degree level.
I am passionate about education. I am a recent graduate of McGill University's French Languages and Literature program, with an Honours thesis in creative writing, and minors in Anthropology and History. I also have a great deal of experience through various teaching opportunities working with both children and adults, be it in private Math, English, or French tutoring; adult French conversation lessons; writing educational texts to inspire future female hockey players; or by working with young campers and teen counsellors as a Summer Camp Director.
