About Ashley
I am a student at McGill University in my least year of the Bachelor of Education in Secondary English program, with a minor in History. I have taught several subjects as a substitute teacher for the Eastern Townships School Board and have been a private tutor for English at many levels of primary and secondary education, as well as an editor/peer-reviewer in the post-secondary field as well.

I firmly believe that a teacher can learn just as much from their students as their students will learn from them. My classroom environment is welcome to all and involves approaching topics from different perspectives and approaches to ensure that all students are understanding and performing at the same academic levels. I enjoy making course material relevant to students so that they see the importance of what they are learning for their lives outside of school.
