About Sharon
A mechanical engineering graduate currently making a career change into the world of education with a postgraduate diploma and an initial exposure over ten (10) years ago, teaching Sciences to secondary students which spurred my interest in the field of education. My tutoring Techniques is basically Understanding First, Hands-On Problem Solving, Interactive and Fun, Regular Check-Ins.
Most of my lessons run for about 45 to 60 minutes. I have a solid background in mathematics, usually with a degree in the field and several years of tutoring experience. This helps me understand the nuances of different math topics and how best to teach them. I work with a broad range of students, from middle schoolers just starting out with more complex concepts, to high school students tackling more advanced topics. My goal is to support anyone who wants to improve their math skills, whether they’re preparing for exams or just looking to boost their understanding.
