About Habiba
Hello! I am a current second-year student at the University of Leeds, studying Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. In my lessons, I want to create an enjoyable and safe environment where students who struggle with certain topics can comfortably inform me of their struggles and allow me to approach those topics and try to resolve them in the way they find best suited. Every student learns differently and I want to be able to cater to individual students needs within my hour-long sessions so they can receive the best outcome possible.

I will base my lessons mostly around practice. I will go over multiple past paper questions from the topics my students struggle with and explain the concepts and methods used to resolve those questions. Understanding an approach is a main focus of mine. Once multiple questions are looked at, explained and solved, I will give the students an opportunity to showcase what they learned with my guidance and teach them through practice. While completing my IGCSE's, this was the method I found most useful and effective, therefore I will try to implement it as best as I can. Throughout my education, I achieved exceptional results, including an A* in Maths IGCSE and an A in Maths at A-Levels. Additionally, even though there will be plans for the lessons these will be extremely adaptable, focusing on specific areas that need improvement, covering some previously covered topics, slowing down the pace or adding in some extra challenges, all depending specifically on you!
