About Gracie
I am a first-year medical student at Cardiff University, with a passion for biology. Throughout A-levels, I found it very rewarding to assist and encourage my peers through our shared subjects, and led a medical society where I helped to coach students through both academic subjects and university applications. I'm a friendly and flexible tutor who is willing to go above and beyond to help you achieve whatever goals you have in mind, using methods that work for you.

A-level Biology can be a really difficult subject to get high grades in due to the mountains of content paired with the complexity of the terminology and specificity of mark schemes. Personally, I managed to improve my grade from a low C to consistently getting As and A*s in past papers within a few months, by mastering some simple techniques. In the real exam, I achieved a high A, only two marks off the A* grade boundary. I think my experience in improving my grades has allowed me to gain the required skills to help students improve their exam performance and general understanding of biology, in a relaxed, understanding environment.
