My teaching methods focus on thinking first, content second. I think that the best form of learning is one in which you are able to actively immerse yourself in a concept and then apply it to novel situations with ease. Thus, lessons with me will be focused on helping you develop the right mode of thinking to deal with the subject or type of problems at hand, after which we'll look to foster your understanding of the content itself. This same mode of thinking with a focus on applying knowledge enabled me to study for my MCAT in 50% less time. I believe in it, I trust it, and I will help you build a similar mode of knowledge for your topic of interest as well.
Hi! I am currently a Doctorate of Medicine Candidate in Ontario. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western, and the experience as a pre-medicine student in a medical science program really challenged me and helped me develop the teaching and learning philosophy I have today. Beyond my academic experience as a student, I've also tutored for children from grades 1-12, as well as university students through international programs.
