About Tirsheen
I am a current Medical Student and have a keen interest in education. Having attained 10 A*s at GCSE and completing A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, I understand the key skills required to excel in examinations and reach ones true potential. My core focus is to ensure that content is covered according to the relevant specifications and that explanations and teaching techniques are specifically tailored towards each pupil's needs. I also have experience in mentoring aspiring medical and dental students and can provide support with the application and interview process.

I have experience mentoring and tutoring students from Primary up until A level and have been able to successfully adapt my delivery of lessons so they are best suited to each pupil's needs, ensuring that they are able to fully understand and apply the concepts that they have been taught. I am determined and committed to providing each student with a high standard of teaching and I aim to ensure that I explain concepts in a clear and concise manner to enhance understanding. I place strong emphasis on mastering exam technique particularly for students completing GCSEs and A-Levels. I feel that it is important to review my students' understanding of topics on a regular basis to consolidate learning and ensure that they are making progress.
Lessons will involve covering content and then applying the learned knowledge to past paper exam questions so that students can be confident at tackling exam style questions and we can identify any knowledge gaps they may have which can then be covered accordingly. I am able to offer single 1 hour lessons or 2 hour double lessons.
