About Henry

Hi, I'm Henry! I'm a medical student in the 3rd year of my studies at Imperial College London. My main tutoring interest is the UKCAT (or UCAT), and it's a subject I've gathered 100s of hours of experience tutoring with a company over the past year. In that time, I've also tutored GCSE chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics to many students. I graduated from school in 2016 having achieved 2 A*s and an A grade in Biology, Maths and Chemistry at A Level as well as an A in English Literature at AS Level. At GCSE I achieved 6A*s and 6As, including A*s in iGCSE for all sciences. I've been tutoring now for just over a year, and like I said I've gathered 100s of hours of UKCAT experience, as well as BMAT and GCSE tutoring alongside. About the lesson

My lessons are formatted as a kind of UKCAT online crash course. I've designed hundreds of slides to help you master the UKCAT, with plenty of practise questions and a lot of exam technique tips and tricks which should have you achieving a great score. My tutorials are divided into VR, QR, AR, DM and SJT (the sections of the UKCAT), and I aim to spend around 2 hours on each of the sections, but am always flexible if it turns out you'd like to spend a little more time going over things. The main reason people fail the UKCAT is poor exam technique - they spend too long on questions, get confused with the wording or just aren't sure how to get to the answer; my tutorials will change that, and leave students well prepared for the test that can decide whether or not they get a place at medical school.
