About Kirsten
I am currently in my first year studying Medicine at University. I completed A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths as well as an Extended Project Qualification and an AS in Latin. I have 7 GCSE's of a grade 9 standard and 2 GCSE's of a grade 8 standard. I enjoy helping people and i have experience tutoring GCSE students which I received positive feedback got. I am also open to changing my style of teaching based on what would suit you best!

I believe that maths is a very practical subject and in order to understand topics you first need to learn how to answer a type of question, then you have to do a lot of practice questions and finally revisit these questions at later points. This is what i found useful in both my GCSE's and A levels. The typical length of a lesson can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much help you feel like is needed. I like to know in advance what topics specifically you want help with so i can prepare material to cover in the time. I have experience with tutoring GCSE students before and also helping out with maths for younger students for my volunteering. My lessons are for those in year 5 up to GCSEs.
