About Ching Hang
I am a first-year medical student at the University of Glasgow. Having been through public examinations myself, I understand the challenges and stress students face. My goal is to support GCSE and A level students by building their confidence, improving their exam technique, and helping to reduce exam-related anxiety. I achieved A* grades in Biology and Mathematics and an A in Chemistry at A level, as well as seven grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE, across subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, PE, Chinese, and History. I was awarded the highest grade in the Free-Standing Mathematics Qualification, alongside a Gold Award in the 2025 Chemistry Olympiad and a Silver Award in the 2024 Biology Olympiad.

My online lessons are tailored for students preparing for A levels and GCSEs, and can be delivered in three languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. In both GCSE and A level Biology, I place a strong emphasis on examination skills, including how to approach 4- and 5-mark questions effectively and how to interpret and analyse graphs. Each lesson is structured to first address areas of the course where students require additional support, followed by focused teaching on examination techniques. Lessons typically last one hour. During Year 13, I gained mentoring experience as part of Warwick School’s peer mentoring programme, supporting Biology students in Years 10, 11, and the Lower Sixth.
