About Steven
Starting out involves tuning the guitar while we discuss your favorite bands to find common ground. This is a journey. I provide custom backing tracks so that you can practice your soloing at home without needing a band. 11 years of experience means I can quickly adapt to your specific goals, whether you are a kid learning chords or a professional refining lead guitar.
We focus on maintenance and tuning so your gear is always ready. It is a simple process.

Holding a McGill degree in Music Education serves as the technical foundation for all my instruction. 11 years of playing and teaching have shown me that patience remains the most important tool.
I have worked with 308 students to date. Music is a language. I love breaking down complex blues progressions into manageable patterns for busy adults.
It is satisfying. Helping a beginner find their rhythm during a session is a highlight of my week.
