About Meghan

As mentioned, I’ve been teaching for 20 years and have a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum, having taught from elementary to high school, with most of my experience in high school. During my senior year, I took AP classes, and I pursued a master’s program where I was required to speak exclusively in Spanish. Additionally, I lived in Spain for over five years, which has deepened my love for the language and fueled my desire to help you grow in it. Aside from teaching, I love watching sports, reading, dancing and hiking, among other things.

About the lesson

If your focus is to develop skills across all modes of communication, I’m your profe. My love for Spanish, my ability to connect you with different cultures, my two decades of teaching experience, and my personalized lesson plans tailored to your needs make me the perfect fit for you.

We had a wonderful experience with Meghan as our kids' Spanish tutor over the past school year. She is warm, very outgoing, and immediately connected with our kids, making them feel comfortable and excited to participate. She was always flexible with scheduling and communicated proactively, which made coordinating lessons so easy. Meghan did an excellent job tailoring conversations to whatever our kids were interested in, encouraging them to speak in Spanish naturally and confidently. She was also great at noticing grammar mistakes and gently correcting them in a way that helped them learn without feeling self-conscious. Over time, we saw a real improvement in both their confidence and their Spanish skills.
