About Ankana

I am a certified Japanese language Educator trained through a 360-hour intensive teachers' training program conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Embassy of Japan, supported by the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. I also hold JLPT N2 certification.
Through rigorous training and continuous practice, I have developed a strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies and am skilled in lesson planning, interactive teaching, and creating visually engaging presentations and study materials that help students build a strong foundation in Japanese language and culture
I am passionate about guiding students with patience and clarity, and I believe consistent effort and the right support can help anyone succeed in learning Japanese.

About the lesson

I focus on building strong foundations in Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, reading, listening, speaking, and writing. I teach from beginner to intermediate levels (A1–B1 / JLPT N5–N3).
I use Minna no Nihongo along with Japan Foundation standard textbooks such as Irodori and Marugoto, and other JLPT-focused materials. Spoken practice is an essential part of every lesson to develop real-life communication skills.
Each class includes introduction of new concepts, guided practice, and conversation exercises. Structured study materials are provided for effective revision, and Japanese cultural insights are integrated to create an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.
My strengths are patience, clarity, and personalized guidance. I teach JLPT aspirants, SSW candidates, children, and adults learning Japanese for career or personal interest.
