About Ryan
Pacing remains steady throughout our time together because I prioritize immediate feedback. Clarity is central. I offer a free trial lesson to assess your level before we commit to a routine. This session helps us define whether you need to brush up on travel French or complex idioms.
You gain access to my full range of teaching materials. We focus on reading comprehension to ground your vocabulary. I find that consistent dialogue practice yields the best progress. My approach is entirely collaborative and centered on your comfort level.

Do you need help with listening practice or perhaps some role play and dialogue practice? I have spent 8 years of experience honing these specific communication skills.
My training began in violin at Conservatoire, though my secondary focus was always voice. This cross-disciplinary background allows me to teach French with a unique ear for phonetics. I work with absolute beginners and intermediate learners who need structure. Exam preparation for DELF or IELTS is also a major focus for me.
Having lived and worked in Montreal, I bring a broad perspective to my instruction. What specific language goals are you hoping to reach this year?
