About George

I am a 19 year old student at the University of Cambridge currently studying for a degree in Spanish and Arabic.

I have high GCSE and A Level qualifications in Spanish, French and History and therefore can offer tutoring for those studying these subjects up to these qualification levels with ease and confidence.

I have a strong passion for these selected subjects, and due to my recent studies in the three selected areas I am able to offer professional, but informal and enjoyable learning to those who may be struggling in languages and humanities, or to those who simply want to guarantee a high grade.

I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language for 6 weeks in China, resulting in the obtainment of the TEFL certificate. I also taught English to an Iraqi refugee for 4 weeks in September 2019, utilising both my EAL capabilities and my Arabic knowledge.

About the lesson

Friendly, inspiring and constructive environments are key to achieving top grades and happy students - pressured students often do not do as well as they hoped and therefore my teaching methodology would be informal, but effective and inspiring.

I can offer high-level tutoring on topics such as exam technique, exam preparation, vocabulary learning, fluency training and tips and tricks for applications to university, including personal statement work and applications to Oxbridge.

My tutoring can easily extend from basic secondary school level up to A Level.
