About Fern

I am a passionate drum tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, helping students of all levels learn and grow confidently. I have successfully taught around 150 students and supported them in developing strong rhythm, coordination, and musical awareness. Teaching drums is not just my profession but something I truly enjoy.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and flexible. I take time to understand each student’s learning style, goals, and pace. Lessons start with basic fundamentals such as timing, posture, grip, and coordination, and then gradually move to advanced beats, fills, and grooves. I focus on clarity so students fully understand what they are learning.

One of my unique skills is making drumming easy to understand. I break complex rhythms into simple steps and practical exercises. I also guide students in building effective practice routines, helping them improve consistently even outside lessons.

I believe learning drums should be positive and enjoyable. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident, motivated, and encouraged to practice. Whether students are beginners or advanced players, I help them build strong skills and musical confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for drums is built on understanding how each student learns and grows. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning preferences, including visual demonstrations, listening practice, and hands-on repetition. This ensures that students clearly understand rhythm, timing, and coordination.
