I usually start from basics...Either it be any class I start from basics only....Because once you get to learn basics then it's matter of concentration only yo learn advanced things....
Eg..Once I was teaching student about geography as I use to give home tution so I have to teach all subjects....So he used to think that why don't we fall from earth if earth is round...So I teached him about earth,forces which are around us ,how earth was formed...This made geography more interesting for him...Similar approach I use for all subjects
