About Chrisa

My name is Maria-Chrysanthi Gkinou and I am a physiotherapist from Greece. I currently finished my postgraduate degree in «Advanced Physiotherapy Practice» (September 2019- August 2020) at Coventry University. I have approximately 3 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings where I gained invaluable knowledge that I can bring it on to your studies. Till now I have conducted two experimental projects, one in my undergraduate studies and one in my master's studies. In the first project, I have examined the efficacy of pilates over manual therapy in adults with low back pain and in the second project, I examined the effects of fatigue in balance in young Martial Arts athletes. Thus, whichever your sector of preference is I can be there to help you in your journey of learning!

About the lesson

As a tutor for undergraduate students for the past 2 years, I used a variety of learning methods specialised to the needs and wants of each student. Graphs, pictures, body language, frames, bullet points and especially clinical cases with examples and explanations about the examination, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and finally treatment.
