Are you curious about how to make your first sound on the guitar? Teaching is a natural extension of my identity as a musician and a newcomer to Canada. I bring 13 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Music Education from McGill to our sessions.
We can cover reading tabs, chord transitions, and power chords in a relaxed way. I have worked with 153 students, ranging from teens to adults finding their footing in Canada.
Tuning and maintenance are vital topics I introduce early on. My approach involves balancing technical scales and modes with actual songwriting. It is quite rewarding. I keep a guitar nearby for our chat.
