About Jun
Hi my name is Jun and I am a graduate of Class of 2023.
I attended The McDonald College Performing Art School (year 9-10) and Newington College (year 11-12) both on a music scholarship. I have been lead clarinetist in the Symphonic Winds Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra in year 12. I was also involved in Big Band throughout year 11-12 as well as choir.
Throughout my clarinet playing, I have played all kinds of repertoire including Classical, Romantic, 21st century, Modern and Jazz. I have not only played the typical orchestras and wind ensembles, but have also played in rock bands and jazz bands.
Fun Fact : I have performed and recorded with The Wiggles

My lessons usually go for an hour each session. During that lesson, I would help my student with scales to start with and then go into pieces and help them with the technical parts. What we cover during that lesson, will be what they should practise over the week until the next lesson. If they are a complete beginner, I would use one of the beginner books to go over each aspect of the book bit by bit.
I completed my Associate in Music Diploma (AMUS) for Piano in year 10. I have also ranked 1st for both HSC Music 2 and Music Extension (Both Band 6) and was Nominated for Inclusion in Encore
I have no age limit for my students and I can teach beginner to advanced.
