About Sibylle

I have been giving private lessons for about 2 years, so far mainly to musicians ranging from beginner to intermediate level. Beyond the preparation for exams, I seek above all to transmit a real pleasure of playing, and to help the student to have a certain self-demand while feeling confident.

About the lesson

Student at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel in 2nd Master, graduate of Solfège, Chamber Music and History of Art and Master Performance in violin, I am also very interested in orchestral practice and the interpretation of contemporary music.

I offer music theory and violin lessons. In this last subject in particular, my method depends entirely on the needs and interests of the student (learning to work effectively, revealing musicality and combining interpretation with technique, or even learning to adapt his playing for the practice of the orchestra by example, etc.).

Having no car, I preferably offer lessons at my home in Saint-Louis, at the Musik Akademie in Basel, but can also move around.
