About Matthew
I am a music student in Music Performance at McGill minoring in education, who has previously completed a double major in Music and Sciences at Marianopolis College.
I have been tutoring since the end of high school in a broad range of subjects, from mathematics and physics, to music theory and ear training. I am passionate about learning and about sharing that love of knowledge with others.
Whether it's physics, arithmetic, algebra or music theory, I am eager to help you share the same passion I have for the subject.

My teaching style is flexible and adaptable to individual students' needs. For more mature students, I ask that they come to tutoring sessions prepared with questions or specific areas they would like to look at, and problems to work on. For younger students, I supplement their questions with problem sets to work on to help guide the tutoring and ensure that all aspects of the subject are mastered. I am available for questions outside of tutoring times as long as this is done sparingly, and I will sometimes assign small homework (either problem sets, or more theoretical questions to think about).
