About CHARLES
I study songwriting at BIMM London and have been playing guitar for the last 5 years, but began on the bass guitar. I'm a first time teacher but have taken a course specified in music teaching at my university. I've had some experience teaching basic drum lessons to groups of primary school children, teaching basic rhythms using aural exercises.

I'm a self taught guitarist and musician, but have had advanced training in music theory through my degree. My lessons will be broken up into progressive weekly lessons, covering the basics such as how to correctly hold the guitar and retain good posture, to basic scales, moving on to two note chords, then triads (three note chords), open chords, barre chords, how to construct melodies, learning songs by ear, and learning to read chord charts.
