About Helena
I am a graduate in piano performance from Laurentian University, but my real passion is writing and producing music. I have one album out already, titled Astronaut, and I have another one in the works. Having a good understanding of music theory, even just basic voice leading rules, goes a long way in my line of work.

There are two styles of music theory you'll learn if you pursue an undergrad in music: Rameau and Schoenberg. I have read both original texts and am more than happy to share my knowledge. If you are already an undergrad and are looking for shortcuts, I can also teach you Schenkerian analysis. Admittedly, the only real way to get comfortable with music theory is through work and practice. I will push you if I have to.
