About Chantal
You will find that singing lessons are focused on your specific vocal goals. We spend time on warm-up exercises that prepare your voice for the session ahead. Sight singing is integrated to help you become a more independent musician.
I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep you consistent. Intermediate learners and grade exam candidates benefit from this structured approach. Teens also find that my background with a BA Musique populaire helps them understand their own voice better. Your voice will improve with practice.

Teaching exists because I love sharing the craft of singing. VOCAL HEALTH is vital. I hold a BA Musique populaire from UQAM and have 7 years of experience supporting performers. My students range from French learners who want to sing chanson to serious guitar students learning Québécois folk styles.
I provide steady guidance on pitch control and stage fear management to help you perform well. Breathing control and belting technique form the foundation of our work together.
Microphone technique and diction and articulation are covered in depth. Genre styling including pop and classical and musical theater is part of the curriculum. I value the growth I witness in my students.
