About Grazia
My name is Grace DeMarins. I am a NYS certified teacher who has been teaching online and in-person with elementary, middle and high school students in many of the core subjects including math for over 20 years including Special Education. I was a devoted NYC public school teacher and (currently) as an online home-instruction teacher throughout Westchester County Schools and I teach math with small groups online from Texas. I am also an in-person private tutor I have built up a wealth of resources and activities to meet the needs of all my students.

I am exceptional at teaching 3rd to 8th grade who builds trusting relationships with students and parents. This helps me to create a unique custom learning plan based on your child's needs and abilities. Math becomes simple and fun when children know the steps. I really get to know your child's learning style . I create activities that your child will enjoy. We will build all the foundational skills and practice them through real world examples so your child can master each concept. I am very resourceful and can quickly change the pace of each lesson when necessary. I always give them sincere feedback and praise. Students know I care about them. My students are building confidence. I always know when they get it.
