About Jeremiah
I am an extremely patient person, I come from a very unprivileged background and had no support system in my education growing up, so I understand the frustration of failing despite wanting to do well, and the fear of judgment that may come with that. Through my tutoring I hope not only to help students learn new concepts, but also develop their ability to learn and break down concepts in general, and take their learning into their own hands like I had to do for myself once.

My specialty is in my learning style, which I will impart unto others during our lessons. I always take a deep, axiomatic approach to learning, it is slower but results in much deeper, genuine understanding than methods that rely on memorization of formulas and processes.
The 'axioms' we operate from will depend on the knowledge level of the student, that is to say, not true logical axioms (that approach would take too long for most subjects). From the most solid part of a student's base of knowledge we will construct all necessary understanding to future-proof the student's ability to reconstruct and refresh topics at any point.
Every lesson may take on a different structure depending on the subject at hand, but the most general template would be this:
1. A comprehensive diagnostic of the student's strengths and shortcomings. The goal is to understand the underlying logical base of both the strengths and shortcomings, giving a clear picture of the problem for students to focus on even beyond our lessons.
2. Review/Learn relevant concepts and skills to rectify the identified shortcomings.
3. Solve problems that are specifically catered towards the students strengths and weaknesses identified in the first step. That is, problems that utilize the student's strengths and isolate the weakness as much as possible. This allows the student to directly exercise the skills learned in step 2 in the context of their knowledge base, extending their foundation instead of building on top of shaky scaffolding.
