About Katia
My name is Kat!
I've been passionate about music for my whole life. I took 12 years of classical piano lessons, and have been singing since my early childhood. I would love to tutor children into that passion, through games or any playful way.
I've 6+years of experience working with children.
I've worked as a French tutor/mentor to 13 students aged between 5 and 13 years old.
I taught craft in French to non-francophone children between 5 and 12.
I worked for various camps where I was organising activities and making sure everybody was having fun.
My approach has always been to encourage my students to help them building self confidence, and expressing more freely through creation. I want to build that relationship with my students where seeing them inspired inspires me.
It could only make sense for me to teach music to children, and to see them develop.

My goal is to make the session as fun as possible for your child (or for your inner child!), while making them proud to have learnt or created something they will keep at the end of the session.
I usually build my program in different parts to explore all aspects of creation.
Whether we do a treasure hunt, record a music, or write lyrics to a beat, my lessons will always be adapted to your child's interests.
Depending on their profile and interests, they will be able to discover:
-Music writing
-Music recording
-Emotions through music
-Tons and rhythms
-Music video recording
-Writing lyrics to develop self confidence
-French... Oh, I didn't mention, but we can do the session in French too!
I specialise in children from 5 to 12 years old. However, I would be more than happy to help release anyone's inner child too.
