About Paula
Hi! My name is Paula and I am from Santander, a beautiful city in the north of Spain, although I am now living in Dublin.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, a master’s degree in Secondary Education teaching and a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I enjoyed helping people learn languages even before I went to univeristy and I have over 6 years of experience as a language teacher in different settings (high school, university, language school and private lessons).
Moreover, I love languages! I also speak English, French and a bit of Italian, so I completely understand what it feels like to learn a new language. I have lived in Spain, the UK, Ireland, France and Belgium. I love learning about different cultures and sharing my language and culture with others.

I woud love to help you achieve your language goals. In order to do that, I adapt the lessons to the learners’ needs and objectives. I can help you with different skills such as speaking, writing, listening or reading, and we will work on language aspects such as vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Throughout my experience, I have worked with students with different learning styles and rhythms. I like to use varied resources such as games, images or flashcards, and to follow the communicative approach and use the language as much as possible. We can only learn by doing!
