About Kristen
I currently teach at couple different private schools, I’ve also trained interpreters to help them pass their certifications. I’m also a Deaf Interpreter in Washington DC. I have interpreted at the White House, and various tours at Smithsonian museums. I’ve had experience with the legal system, and I can help you navigate your options for using sign language.

I was born and raised in the heart of Deaf world and culture, which is at Gallaudet university in Washington DC. I also am deaf and come from a deaf family. So if you want to immerse yourself in ASL, be able to tell entertaining stories, or jokes with your friends and family. Or even coworkers. Inclusion is a great thing. We can meet weekly or bi-weekly for a hour to improve your signing and communication. This also improves your public speaking and hand-eye coordination abilities. This will be hands on and fun! Get started with me! Even if you’re an absolute beginner or aspiring interpreter.
