Hi! My name is Suzana Cunha, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself for this opportunity as a part-time online tutor in math and physics for kids. I’m originally from Brazil and currently living in Canada. I’m a certified Project Management Professional with a background in Industrial Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Construction Project Management. For over 10 years, I’ve worked on large, complex engineering and construction projects around the world — from Canada and the U.S. to Mozambique and South America. But beyond all that technical experience, there’s something even more meaningful to me: teaching. A few years ago, while working in Mozambique, I had the privilege of being a volunteer tutor for children in need. That experience touched my heart. I saw firsthand how just a bit of time, attention, and guidance could completely change how a child feels about learning. That joy of helping someone go from “I don’t get it” to “I love this!” is what motivates me to teach again.

I’m used to managing big projects with tight deadlines and lots of moving parts — so when it comes to lesson planning and student progress, you can count on me to stay on top of things. This job isn’t just a side gig for me — it’s something I’m excited to do because I know how valuable it can be for the students.
