Hello, my name is Pete, and I’m from England — a native British speaker and the voice behind ConversaBritánico. I have a diverse background in engineering, management, and business, with over 40 years of experience across industries ranging from marine to food. My career has taken me to more than 20 countries worldwide, including South America, where I gained valuable insights into different cultures and ways of life. I enjoy travelling, discovering new places, trying new foods, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I also speak basic Spanish and have knowledge of Colombia, which helps me understand the context and challenges faced by Latin American learners. I use my real-world experience — in work, travel, and life — to make conversations natural, engaging, and practical.
