About Mulikat
WHO AM I?
My name is Mulikat Ismaila. I am a native Ebira (Ebira Tao) woman from Okene in Kogi State. I grew up speaking Ebira at home, and I am very proud of our culture. I am currently living in Lugbe, Abuja. I am an ND holder in Public Administration from Kogi State Polytechnic, and I also have skills in caregiving, housekeeping, and cooking.
WHY I WANT TO TEACH EBIRA?
I want to teach Ebira because our language is dying among children born abroad. Many Ebira parents in USA, UK, Canada tell me their children cannot speak Ebira and they feel sad. I want to help them.
I also want to teach because I am a good teacher - I am patient, kind, and I explain slowly until you understand. I love seeing my students speak their first Ebira sentence and smile.
Teaching Ebira also helps me support my family while preserving our beautiful culture for the next generation.

My name is Mulikat Ismaila, I am a native Ebira speaker from Okene, Kogi State living in Abuja Lugbe. I am an ND holder in Public Administration.
I teach Ebira language (Ebira Tao) for children and adults, especially Ebira families in diaspora in USA, UK, Canada who want their children to learn their mother tongue.
I teach greetings, numbers, market conversation, cooking, culture, reading and writing. My classes are simple, practical, patient and fun. I teach online on WhatsApp video call and Google Meet, and physical in Lugbe Abuja.
