I typically use video lessons that contain the video, comprehension and discussion questions. The videos that I use are in the categories of science, travel, cultures, the environment etc. My students are able to select the video they wish to view, try their best at answering the comprehension questions. This tests their listening skills. Then during class, we go over the answers and follow up with the discussion questions which encourage them to speak and use new vocabulary.
