About Marianne Cecilia
Hi, I'm Marianne! I am an educator with 17 years of experience and a deep-seated love for the spoken and written word.
My expertise spans centuries: from writing my thesis on Ovid and the classics, to navigating the worlds of Chaucer and Shakespeare, to specializing in early 20th-century literature and poetry. Because literature is deeply tied to time and place, I place a strong emphasis on British literature and history in my work.
I am equally passionate about how we communicate today. I specialize in conversation skills, diction, accents, and dialects—helping people find power, clarity, and nuance in their own voices. Let's connect and explore the richness of the English language together!

Hi there! I’m Marianne, a native English speaker with a lifelong passion for the literature, communication and power of words. Whether you are looking to polish your everyday conversational skills, master perfect English diction and pronunciation, or dive deep into the world of books, I’m here to help you find your voice.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (Honours), which means I don't just know the language, I love its nuances, its rhythm, and its history. But don't worry, my lessons aren't rigid lectures! I believe the best way to learn is through engaging, natural dialogue tailored entirely to your goals.
