About Victoire

Bonjour! I'm Victoire, a native French speaker from Geneva, Switzerland, currently studying Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

I grew up in a multilingual environment, speaking French, English and German, and completed the International Baccalaureate at just 17 before continuing my studies in the United States and London.

I've always been passionate about languages, literature and education. Having learned several languages myself, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident when communicating in a new language.

I also have previous private tutoring experience, which has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement and adapting to each student's individual learning style.

I love sharing French language and culture, and my goal is to make learning feel natural, enjoyable and rewarding, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to perfect your fluency.

I'm friendly, approachable and committed to helping every student progress at their own pace. À bientôt!

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French is personalised, interactive and adapted to each student's goals. As a native French speaker from Geneva, I believe the best way to learn a language is through a combination of conversation, practical exercises and a solid understanding of grammar.

I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable rather than overly academic, helping students feel comfortable speaking French from the very beginning.

My lessons typically include:
- Conversation and pronunciation practice to build fluency and confidence
- Grammar, vocabulary and writing exercises tailored to your level
- Reading and listening comprehension using articles, literature, music and everyday situations
- GCSE, A-Level and IB French exam preparation
- Personalised feedback and exercises to help you progress between lessons

Lesson duration:
Typically 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on your needs.

My background:
I grew up in a multilingual environment in Switzerland, completed the International Baccalaureate at 17 and have previous private tutoring experience. I understand the importance of adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and academic goals.

Who are my lessons for?
I welcome students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners looking to refine their French. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving your professional French, planning a move abroad or simply learning for pleasure, I'll adapt our lessons to you.

Above all, I want my students to feel confident, motivated and excited to learn French!
