About Nicolas
My name is Nicolas, I was born in France and I am a native French speaker. I served in the French Air Force as an avionics mechanic, which taught me discipline, precision, and responsibility. I hold an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from France, and I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business. These experiences shaped me into a reliable and professional tutor, dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals with patience and clarity.

As a native French speaker from France now living in Burlington, I offer personalized lessons adapted to each student’s goals and level. My teaching method combines structured grammar and vocabulary practice with real-life conversations to help you feel confident speaking French from day one. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up (listening or speaking), followed by a focus on a specific theme or grammar point, and ends with interactive exercises or role-play to put everything into practice. I also adapt my resources (texts, videos, dialogues) to your personal interests, so learning stays engaging and relevant. What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, my clear explanations, and my ability to make French culture part of the lesson—whether it’s expressions, traditions, or daily life in France. My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, or advanced students looking to improve conversation, grammar, or even prepare for exams and travel. With me, you won’t just learn French—you’ll understand how to use it naturally and with confidence.
