About Anne

I am a native french speaker and grew up in the Netherlands. I am currently finishing a master in biomedical sciences. Growing up I was exposed to multiple languages, making me very curious about language and culture.
I think learning languages is a great tool in life for communication and understanding people. I am very motivated about teaching my native language and sharing my culture. I think it is important when learning a new language to also be exposed to other aspects of language, such as minimal geography, culture, literature, and other medias (e.g. news)...

About the lesson

I myself have experience learning new languages through tutoring/independent learning. I am very passionate about language learning, and culture in general. I volunteered as a A1 French teacher for the UCL french society for a year, offering classes weekly to a range of students.

I offer hour long classes in english/french, depending on the level for adults or teenagers. I can adapt the classes to any level, ranging from teaching basic conversation skills, grammar and conjugation to more advanced conversation and reading.

I believe in using a multidisciplinary approach and immersing yourself in the language. This means my classes can be diverse through reading, speaking, hearing and building a strong grammar. For more advanced students I can also help with advanced vocabulary, conversional skills, as well as giving book, movie and music recommendations in french. I can also help with french homework.
