I offer private French tuition for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, whether you are studying French at school, preparing for exams, or simply looking to improve your confidence and fluency.

I am first and foremost a mathematician. I also hold a DEUG in Classical Studies, which I completed alongside my degree in Mathematics. This background has given me a particular interest in languages, literature, history and philosophy, and allows me to bring a wider cultural perspective to my French lessons.

About the lesson

I offer specialized private French tutoring for middle school and high school students, including Honors and AP French, as well as college and university students. I work with learners at all levels, from students looking to strengthen their grammar and conversational skills to ambitious students preparing for exams, advanced coursework, and highly selective college applications.

With 7 years of experience as an independent tutor, I bring my experience, teaching skills, and dedication to every student, helping them develop confidence, accuracy, and fluency in both written and spoken French while working toward academic excellence.

➤ French in Context — Lessons can incorporate French literature, history, philosophy, and culture, allowing students to go beyond the language itself and develop a deeper understanding of the French-speaking world.

➤ Academic & Exam Preparation — I can provide targeted preparation for AP French Language and Culture, school and college examinations, written assignments, oral presentations, and other academic requirements.

➤ Progress Monitoring — I continuously adapt the pace and content of lessons according to the student’s progress, ensuring that each new topic is built on a solid foundation.

Whether your goal is to improve your grades, prepare for AP French, become more confident in conversation, succeed in college-level French, or develop an advanced command of the language, lessons can be tailored to your individual objectives.

Special requests are also welcome, including preparation for international curricula such as the IB and French Baccalauréat, as well as advanced work in French literature and academic writing.
