Thank you so much for all your help to get me better prepared for my travels to France. I have
traveled many times over the years to France and have not ever taken the time to study French
until meeting you. ln talking with others that studied with you, I felt you were the right person
for me.
ln our first meeting, it became very apparent you were absolutely the right person for me. You
were prepared, you were clear about expectations of me and what I could expect from you.
The schedule we agreed to worked out perfectly to keep things moving along and gave me time
to study as well. Your approach was very clear and concise and lined up well with what I
needed for my upcoming trip.
I learned more than I truly thought possible. I know you said I would but I wasn't truly
convinced until we started to get into our sessions each time, we dove in and I was
surprised with what was possible.
You not only helped with vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure, but you also had
incredible insight into the up-to-date/familiar way of interacting versus a 'stuffy version.
On my most recent trip to Paris, I arrived with greater confidence. I spoke with the hotel staff,
waiters, shopkeepers, and others. I felt comfortable and if I got stuck, I knew how to ask for
help in French. I was surprised by how incredibly patient and helpful people were because they
could see I was making a genuine effort. I also felt more connected on this trip because I could
understand so much of what others were saying or on the signs I read.
You are very good at what you do, well-informed, and have great tools and tricks up your sleeve to
make learning easier and you are very committed to your craft.
