About Jaad

My name is Jaad, I am currently in my 3rd year studying Chemistry at UBC. I was born and raised in Switzerland and coming here for university was my first time outside Europe! I have experience teaching students French as a second language in Canada and am super excited about the enthusiasm French is receiving in Canada! I am looking forward to speaking with you:)

About the lesson

I like to focus on talking proficiency to encourage students to think in French, instead of translating everything! Our lessons would revolve around building conversation skills, and writing in French, avoiding English sentence formulas in French writing is crucial.
French is my mother tongue, and having taken the IB with both English Lang&Lit and French Lang&Lit at HL, I am confident in navigating both languages in a learning setting.
My lessons are for any level in French! Whether you are just starting out, need help with coursework/writing, or if you just need to practice speaking in a conducive environment!
