About Rowan

I have studied and lived in Germany for 18 years before moving to the UK for university. In Germany, I studied at a German grammar school and obtained my Abitur (highest academic achievement at school) in French, German, History, Drama and English. I am fluent in English and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years, absolving a first class degree with honours in Acting. While performing and working in schools as a 1:1 support, I am confident I can be the support you need and that together we can reach your language target.

About the lesson

Do you need some help with your language homework? Need that extra bit of support or just want to learn a language but don't know where to start? I'm here for your beginning. Coming from acting, I offer an engaging, passionate and fun approach to your language journey with an individual methodology, meeting you in the middle of wherever you are at.

At our first meeting, we will be able to set a learning target or look at any specific material that you might struggle with if you are in school. Depending on your target we are able to set the necessary time for each lesson to make sure you get the support you need and want at your pace of learning.

My previous experience with tutoring involves especially working with younger students (6-12), giving 1:1 support in schools as well as working within SEN settings.
