About Christina A

Are you looking to learn Greek in a way that feels natural, engaging, and adapted to your personal goals?

I’m Christina, a native Greek speaker born and raised in Thessaloniki—the vibrant, cultural heart of northern Greece. I bring over 10 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding that no two students are alike. I tailor each lesson to your learning style, whether your focus is on conversation, grammar, reading, or a blend of all.

I hold a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering Management from the University of Bolton (UK), where I lived and studied from 2014 to 2020. During my years in the UK, I began offering private tutoring, and since returning to Greece, I continue teaching online, connecting with students across the globe.

Please note I am based in Athens, Greece and I have limited availability on weekdays between 6pm to 8pm.

I offer both one-on-one and small group lessons, delivered online in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you're learning Greek for travel, business, academic goals, or personal enrichment, each lesson is carefully tailored to meet your specific needs and learning style.

My teaching method combines theory and real-life practice, with an emphasis on interactive, conversational learning. You’ll not only understand the grammar and structure of the language but also gain the confidence to use it in everyday situations.

Lessons are fully customisable—whether you prefer a focus on speaking, grammar, reading, or vocabulary. I’ve worked with a diverse range of students, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers, and I adjust the pace and content to match your goals.

Please note that all lessons must be at least 1 hour long. Your first session includes an extra 30 minutes for free!

For new students, a complimentary 30-minute introductory session is offered to discuss your goals and learning preferences. Please note that all lessons are a minimum of one hour to ensure adequate time for both theoretical instruction and practical application, as well as to address any questions you may have.
