About Theodore
Hello! My name is Theodore and I live in Kavala, Greece. I am a certified, professional teacher and I have studied History and Ethnology along with Greek language and literature. When I am not playing the bouzouki, the traditional Greek instrument, or exploring my surroundings with my e-bike, I am teaching the Greek language by blending in Grammar, Vocabulary, everyday conversations, History, Culture and Fun. My lessons aren't just grammar drills—they're journeys through Greek myths, ancient philosophers and bouzouki rhythms. I am a really positive, energetic and patient person and I like to get to know new people and their interesting stories behind them! I offer 45/60/90 minute lessons. I focus on everyday language, as I believe that this is the best way in order to acquire a better understanding of the actual language itself and the people who are speaking it. Whether you're a beginner or polishing fluency, I'll tailor lessons to your needs. Learning through play (play-learning, as I call it) is the best way for the students to absorb and acquire the knowledge. I focus on structure (grammar, vocabulary, etc.), communication (speaking and having conversations with my students), History and Culture. These elements are the building blocks of true language acquisition! Play and fun is the icing on the cake!
